First, hello & welcome noob, here's a good place to start.

What I have to know before starting¶

• I know to program in one or more language
• I know the basics of git & and I use Linux daily

I have to get in touch with Ruby¶

• Consult the main site (fr)
• Do not forget the Ruby in 20 minutes tutorial (fr)
• You can read some books, like the excellent "Ruby for Rails" from M. Black
  • Read the online WikiBooks
  • 1st edition of Pragmatic Programmer's book is available freely online
  • Read the fine tutorial from RubyLearning
